Chapter 7 - The Good, The Bad, and The Monsters

*GENERAL POV*

It had been seven years since Beast took out the number two hero and Ronin beat Nezu, Midnight and Eraserhead. Any side that tried to reach out to the brotherhood either in friendship or to take them out, all ended with at least a few broken bones. After they failed to bring in any of the brotherhood in the H.P.S.C. tried to recruit them. Lady Nagant was sent back with both arms broken and a message. "Stay out of our way."

Nezu had made it his personal mission to take out the brotherhood. However knowing which members of the brotherhood went after what crime didn't help them especially since Japan itself seemed to be their hunting grounds, and occasionally venturing out of country. Different villain groups went hoping either to join or to recruit them. All were swiftly dealt with.

The public didn't know what to think. This group took out drug rings and returned kidnapped victims, but they also didnt hesitate to bring down heroes that tried to stop them. Some called them villains, others heroes. But there opinion never really mattered to them.

* Todoroki House Hold*

For the past seven years the Todoroki family was in a limbo like existence . Fuyumi took care of her brothers and tried to take care of her father. Enji was unable to move from the neck down. Most of his mass had left him, he spent most of his time in his room. The nurses that checked up on him twice a day and Fuyumi were the only reason he wasn't dead yet.

Natsuo was happy. After that day his little brother could do what he wanted. No more "training" sessions that ended up with him covered in bruises and burns. He was free, his family was free. As for Endeavour...he got what he deserved.

Shoto was happy and confused. That overwhelming shadow no longer loomed over him. He was free but he didn't know what to do now. Did he want to he a hero? What else was there? He liked soba, his family, and... He'd figure it out but for now the U.A entance exams were only a few months away. If Endeavour was still a hero he probably would have gotten in on recommendations. Shaking his head he went to their dojo to practice his quirk. He was good with his ice but still struggled with his fire. His brother Toya has been helping with it over the years.

When Toya heard the news that Endeavour was crippled and put in the hospital he was extatic. The flaming bastard himself brought to his knees by a child. He had to see it. Had to see the same hopelessness that he and the rest of family felt. He had to see the look in his eyes when he realized that his dreams would never come true. He had to see that crushed expression on his face...the same look he had when he was abandoned.

What he didn't see coming was that his family was there. Or the extra guards protecting the hero. That was a long and unpleasant conversation. After seeing a therapist he slowly righted his mind. When asked if he wanted to be a hero his only response will be Fuck no. Heros didn't save him, they didn't stop Endeavour, and they didn't help his family. A kid with a lot of anger issues did.

Midoriya House Hold

Izuku always wanted to be a hero. From the moment he saw Allmight saving people from a burning building, he knew it was what he was meant to do. The only problem.. he was diagnosed quirkless. He did his best to be a hero, standing up for others even if meant getting beat up instead. Nobody helped him not his classmates, not his teachers, hell his mom only made a half-hearted effort when he came home covered in cuts, burns, and bruises. Throughout his childhood only one person fought on his behalf. A white haired boy with golden eyes and strange tattoos that he assumed were his quirk. After bumping into him while he was running away he tried to apologize, but the boy only looked at him. Then Bakugo arrived yelling and threatening him, and the strange boy. The boy didn't look scared or impressed when Bakugo used his quirk, he looked annoyed if anything. Three hits was all it took him to knock Bakugo out. I remember begging him not to hurt Bakugo any more. His response was to ask my age and walk away after answering him. But out of everything the one thing I remembered the most was how the white haired boy moved. It looked like he was flowing.

I looked for him after. At school, the playground, everywhere I went I looked, hoping he would show me how to move like that. He didn't move like any hero I had seen. I didnt hear anything about him for two years. Then his face was on the news. He was a year younger than me and was a vigilante. To this day he has yet to be captured.

Learning how to fight like that smoth and flowing way he did become even more of an obsession. I begged my mom to learn any kind of material art. Some were rip-offs but it didn't take long to sift through them. Seven years of training hand to hand and wepons combat. I could kick most of the kids in the classes ass. The only one who causes me trouble is Bakugo. He doesn't call me deku anymore and we even train sometimes.

About a week ago I stopped someone from being killed by the sludge villain. After hitting it in the eye I managed to pull out a business man and get away with him. That's when All Might came and defeated the villain. The heros tried to lecture me especially when they found out I was quirkless. At that point I just left mid rant I've come this far with my skill, sure having a quirk would be nice but I know I don't need one.

On my way home All Might caught up to me and offerd his quirk. I...hesitated, did I want it? Did I need it? It took onky a second to make that decision but to me it felt like an eternity went by. I was going to be hero either way might as well have more than one tool to help me long the way.

Yaoyorozu Mansion

It has been several years since Momo had met Ken. On that day she was so terrified, her guards shot and killed in front of her. Thrown in a room for several days barley having anything to eat, and threatened daily. Until he came. His voice was soothing, he didn't get mad when she questioned him. He was honest with her and even told her his name. He held her until they got to the police station.

She never told the police about his name, he had trusted her so she wouldn't betray him. That night she knew that she wanted to be a hero so she could see him again. What she would do when the time came was the real question. Would she try to arrest him? Try to join him? She didn't know, and wouldn't until they met again.

Unknown Wearhouse

All for One didn't know what to think of these vigilantes. They were getting in the way no doubt, but it's the way they operated that bothered him. They were more like machines, anything that stood in their path would be disposed of. He had sent Giren to contact them to either recruit or take their quirks and kill them. They sent the info broker back missing his jaw and tounge, and a message 'You're Next'. He was insulted who the fuck did these little shits think they are. So he sent people after them and leaked whatever info on where they might be. They had responded by killing Dr.Garaki and destroying his lab and experiments. That's when he realized that these aren't some villains, heroes, or your average vigilante who couldn't make it as a hero. They....were monsters just like him.

Shie Hassaikai Base

Ken was in his Ronin loadout. He was currently dragging the armless, and legless Overhaul to a random room. He was going to kill this man and it was going to be bloody. Eri was in another room asleep, but he didn't want to risk waking her so he was taking his business with the Shie Hassaikai's leader somewhere else.

He had walked in on Overhaul operating on her. He kinda wanted to drag this fight out just for the fun of it. But when he saw him standing over a cut open little girl who was still awake. Yea killed the guy in the room crono something and cut off Overhaul's arms. Combining rewind with heal he was able to get her stable and close up her wounds.

She had passed out due to a mix of shock, fear, and pain. He moved her to an empty and clean room. Then he went after Overhaul, cutting off his legs so he wouldn't run.

There are fates worse than death he is going to show them all to Overhaul, and only after he is done will he allow Overhaul to die.

Several Hours later

It had taken Ken longer than he cared to admit to find the Shie Hassaikai. The Brotherhood had pushed criminals into the shadows even more than AllMight ever had. While nice for everybody else it made his job even harder.

Eri clung to him making him remember when he saved Momo. Ken let out a shutter at the memory. Ever since that day he has felt...marked for a lack of a better word. He didn't know why, but his gut tells him that he should steer clear of that one, and his gut has gotten him out of some sticky situations before so there is no reason to doubt it now.

Ken didn't know what to do with this little girl. She couldn't stay with him. Way too many people trying to kill him for that to happen. He couldn't just drop her off at a police station, there was a good chance that she might dissappear into a government facility. Although most of corruption has been removed, he's was not stupid enough to believe all of it would. Letting out a sigh he decided to train her how to control her quirk for now and focus on where to dump her later.

Who knew being a vigilante would be so troublesome.
