Undeniable Attraction

The room atmosphere seems calm and pleasant as fresh air enters through the open windows and circulates the room but she couldn't sleep as she keeps on doing her assignments which kept her awake throughout out the night. The assignment has to be submitted that day by 10 a.m. The cocks start crowing which signals her that it's 6:00 a.m. she hurriedly left the room to start her morning chores, take a shower, and went to dish herself food to eat. Saturday was a stressful day as Elena went to school around 6:00 a.m, forgot to take her breakfast, as she was in a hurry to go for a departmental test around 7:00 a.m,she ran out of the house to board a tricycle but was unsuccessful as she couldn't find one as it was too early. she ran to the highway, but was successful getting a tricycle, she hopped in and off she went .

From her house to the tertiary institute constitutes of about three drops, but was successful as the tricycle she hopped in was heading to the tertiary institute. She arrived around 6:40. a.m and hurriedly walks into the school and also board a taxi. she went to the test venue around 6:45 a.m and quickly open her handouts to scan what she read.

7.00 a.m came and the lecturer was no where to be found, hour passed still no sight, some students were complaining to the class rep about the disappointment while others secretly wished the test will not hold.... well the announcement made by the class rep quickly sent different uproars and chatters by the student as the lecturer postponed the test to another week due to not feeling okay.

Elena quickly felt annoyed as she spent the whole night reading, the venue became empty as students went to their respective choice of places in the school. Elena went to the school restaurant and ate her food then went to an empty class and rest her head. she quickly doze off but was awaken by Stella as she told her she was looking for her. Stella is Elena's best friend as they met in their beginner years in the school and since then established close relationship .

Stella reminded Elena of their ENB 202 lecture around 9:00 am and they hurriedly went to the venue. Lectures started immediately the lecturer came around 9:30am and other lectures came one after the other. lectures for that day ended at 5:30 p.m and the student were tired beyond words. The two ladies were forced to trek to the school gate as the school tricycles have retired for the day. upon reaching, the school's gate was filled with numerous student as only few tricycles were available. The two ladies had to trek some distance to the school first gate.

However, they got a tricycle with two people in it and the tricycle owner inform them that he has to take those people to the first gate which they agreed and hopped on. The people reached their destination and alighted and as Stella looked at her left she saw a verrrry handsome gentleman dressed in navy blue with well maintained moustache and a school bag hanging at his back she couldn't say a word, the tricycle made a u turn and but she kept looking at him as they passed him. They kept chatting and discussing as they reached the school gate, stopped a taxi and hopped in and went to their respective homes

she threw her bag on the bed and sits on the bed also, then afterwards went to kitchen to serve herself. After eating, she took a shower and a nap but kept dreaming about Micheal.

A faithful day,he was in the class lecturing and after teaching he told the class that if they don't understand what he taught them, they can meet him to clear their misunderstandings, she sees this as an opportunity and seizes it as a way to be close to him. After lunchtime, she went to his office her heart kept beating fast repeatedly but she summon the courage to knock the door. come in a gentle voice answered from the inside,and she entered immediately. The office has a simple setting, the perfume he has on his clothes lingers throughout the room as the office is well ventilated and the AC was perfectly working. They were 2 visitors chairs, a three seater cushion, a big office table where his materials, printers computers etc are kept on, an office wardrobe, a fridge and so on.

When the class ended, she thanked him though disappointed and sad towards her unsuccessful eye contact she stood up and make way for the door. I went to the office immediately after wrapping up the class with my student. After some minutes, I heard a knock on the door and thought maybe it was the cleaner but then saw someone different. I signalled her to sit but noticed she was absent minded so I repeated my invite.

She introduced herself as my student and told me that she is here to clear her misunderstanding about what he just taught. I explained a little bit but noticed she was still not understanding so I left my sit and went next to sit with her to explain more. I noticed she kept looking at me, when the class ended she thanked me and walked towards the door, then turn to look at me afterwards, came to me and kiss me. I was astonished this is my student kissing me like what have gotten into her but the look on her face says she was serious.

I decided to do her a favour not to talk about it with any one including her.

the class ended but I was disappointed. After ending the class with my part one student I went to the office so that I can go home. I remembered what occured previously well she is a smart and beautiful lady. Micheal told me I we were going to expect visitors I became perplex who could it be, he told me my parents but I refused to believe.

on Tuesday around 8:00 a.m, I received a phone call from Elena's mum telling me they were coming to our place I couldn't believe my ears.

I told Elena we were expecting visitors but she was perplexed who could it be so to clear her curiosity I told her your parents. She just pretended not to hear and went to the bedroom.

Elena's parents landed, I went and picked them and took them to our house. Dad and mum sat on the one seater cushion respectively while I went to the bedroom to inform Elena about their presence. She came and sat on the edge of the cushion her father was seated on while mum and I watched in amazement.

I went to the bedroom after Micheal told me the news, after some minutes he went to pick the expected visitors from the airport. I was sleeping when they arrived so he woke me up. I went to the parlour but was shocked to see my parents, I thought Micheal was just bluffing when he told me earlier.

I sat down on dad's cushion edge I kept using my cloth to clean the tears pouring down my face and unexpectedly landed on his laps, Micheal and mum kept looking with amazement. Father and daughter kept crying, dad was wiping the tears off my face asking me for forgiveness.

How could you? How could you abandoned and deny your daughter? I asked amidst tears, but he was still asking for forgiveness which I did, he also forgives Micheal.

Micheal

Mum and I were watching father and daughter duo, with amazement we refused to say a single word althrough that time to any of them. They both forgive each other.

I went on my knees and asked for his forgiveness which he did. He asked about his grandchild which I brought him and gave him. I told him his name is Ivan.

Elena

Ivan was brought and gave to dad. He requested we take a family pictures which we did, we discussed heartily with each other, we were both in happy moods. Dad and mum bless us and went to their Abuja that same day.

Finally, my heart and body are at peace. Ivan will be grown in a happy and jovial environment.
