Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 6 A Fried Chicken Revelation

In the midst of the familial tension, Ivanov, the ever-watchful butler, decided to intervene with an unexpected twist. He approached Azzrael, holding a plate of perfectly cooked fried chicken. "Master Azzrael, I thought you might appreciate a taste of home. Fried chicken has always been your comfort, hasn't it?"

Azzrael, momentarily taken aback by the unexpected gesture, managed a small smile. "Well, well, Ivanov, you do have your moments of brilliance. Fried chicken is indeed my guilty pleasure."

As Azzrael savored the familiar flavors, the atmosphere lightened just a notch. However, the calm was short-lived as the elder of the Agriatta family, Azzrael's grandfather, decided to steer the conversation in a different direction.

"Ah, Azzrael, my boy, it's been quite some time. Tell me, have you found yourself a charming young lady to accompany you these days?" the elder inquired, a glint of mischief in his eyes.

Azzrael, looking at his grandfather with an expression that clearly communicated he wasn't in the mood for such inquiries, hesitated for a moment. The room fell silent as all eyes turned toward him.

With a resigned sigh, Azzrael responded, "Grandfather, in this day and age, relationships are not defined by gender norms. And to answer your question, I actually have a boyfriend."

The revelation hung in the air, and the room went still. The elder, initially taken aback, broke into a hearty laugh. "Well, well! Times have indeed changed. Welcome home, Azzrael. We embrace all forms of love in this family."

Azzrael, ensconced in the luxurious confines of the Agriatta Mansion, couldn't silence the whispers of doubt that echoed through his mind. The seemingly warm welcome from the elder left a bitter taste of suspicion, and Azzrael found himself wandering the grand halls, searching for answers.

In the dimly lit study, he found a moment of solitude, a brief respite from the watchful eyes of the family. It was there that the elder, his grandfather, entered, closing the ornate door behind him.

Azzrael, meeting the elder's gaze with a steely resolve, broke the silence. "Grandfather, let's dispense with the pleasantries. I find it hard to believe that my sudden return has elicited such a warm reception. What's the real game at play here?"

The elder, his features weathered by time, sighed. "Azzrael, my boy, you've always been perceptive. I won't pretend that everything is as it seems."

Azzrael, his suspicions confirmed, crossed his arms. "Then enlighten me. What's the true motive behind the orchestrated welcome? Is it about the Agriatta legacy, or is there something more sinister at play?"

The elder, choosing his words carefully, began to unravel the layers of familial intrigue. "Azzrael, the Agriatta name carries weight, not just within the family but in the broader circles of influence. Your return has sparked conversations, speculation, and alliances that transcend our understanding. You and your older brother zachary we'll have a talk after dinner"

n a dimly lit room within the Agriatta Mansion, the elder disclosed the unsettling news to Zachary and Azzrael. The air crackled with an otherworldly tension as the elder spoke of a powerful demon wreaking havoc in a supernatural academy.

Zachary, his gaze unwavering, absorbed the information with a stoic demeanor. "So, we're to investigate a demonic presence in an academy of the supernatural," he mused, his voice carrying the weight of experience in dealing with arcane threats.

Azzrael, leaning forward with a mix of curiosity and determination, asked, "Why us? What makes the Agriatta siblings the go-to for demon hunting?"

The elder, his eyes revealing a depth of ancient knowledge, responded, "The Agriatta bloodline carries a unique blend of magical prowess and resilience. It's a legacy passed down through generations. Only you two possess the capabilities to navigate the intricate web of magic and mystery that shrouds this academy."

Zachary, acknowledging the gravity of the situation, turned to Azzrael. "We can't underestimate the power of this demon, Azzrael. It's not just a threat to the supernatural realm; it poses a danger to our world as well."

Azzrael, feeling the weight of responsibility, nodded. "So, we infiltrate this academy, pretend to be students, and figure out what's going on. Sounds like a plan."
