The biters descended upon the gates, and Bob and Andy pressed themselves against the barriers, the relentless force of the biters pushing back. "HOLD IT! HOLD!" Bob yelled, pushing and screaming.
Rose, her spear already adorned with black specks of biter blood, jabbed it into a biter's head. Grunting, Andy strained against the gates, boots digging into the dirt.
"WE CAN'T HOLD IT FOR MUCH LONGER!" Bob bellowed. Mars' eyes widened; he aimed his gun and pulled the trigger, only to hear a click. "I'm completely out!" Mars yelled, switching to his blade.
Suddenly, a wall from the left came crashing down with a loud crash. Biters stepped on it, creating more metal sounds as they limped toward the four.
Rose's eyes widened. "WE NEED TO EVACUATE!" she warned as walls from the right began to fall. The spear traps around were filled with biters as they walked over the bodies.
Mars nodded. "Rose, go to the cafeteria, get Mr. Newton, Emmy, Ted, the others, and get the hell out of here!" he yelled, stabbing a biter and shoving it back as he backed up.
The gates finally gave way, and Bob and Andy retreated, biters filling in. Mars rushed over, getting into a fighting stance, blood covering his black helmet.
"I got armor. You guys don't. Don't get bit!" Mars yelled, pushing the biters back; they tried to bite down on him but failed.
Tripping a biter, he positioned himself in the middle of the group. "COME HERE, BASTARDS!" he yelled, attracting more.
Rose turned away and sprinted toward the cafeteria, the sounds of biters filling the air with tension and a narrow time frame.
She burst through the door. Dr. Newton flicked his revolver's spin dial over and over again, staring at the doors. "They're coming," he spoke.
Emmy held onto Ted, shaking her head. "No. We are going through the back. Let's get ready." She stood up as Ted climbed onto her back, observing the biters crowding Mars as he systematically stabbed them, the night growing darker.
Dr. Newton eyed the door, then stood up, striding over to a table and commenced pushing it towards the doors, blocking the entrance. He swiftly turned his attention to a metal drawer, blocking a window.
Glancing at Emmy, he declared, "We need to be quick." Emmy nodded. "It will. Just give me time." She disappeared from view, into a storage room.
Rose fixed her gaze on the door, awaiting the biters as she observed the approaching horde. Mars vanished from sight.
Bob and Andy looked back at the cafeteria. "We can't lead the biters there," Andy voiced concern. "They'll get out. We can't distract them either." Bob scanned the approaching horde for Mars.
"My office, I got an idea," Bob revealed, earning a curious look from Andy. "What is it?" Bob snickered slyly. "Let's give 'em a show they'll remember." Bob sprinted towards his office, narrowly evading biters.
Andy followed, dodging a biter. Suddenly, a hand from below snatched Andy's leg, widening his eyes as he stumbled, trying to aim his spear at the biter.
The biter swiftly pulled him down, and Andy let out a scream. Bob swiveled around, extracting his rifle from his back, aiming, and firing a shot at a biter near Andy.
A biter knelt down, gripping Andy. He tilted the spear quickly, and it entered the biter's mouth as it bit down on it.
Bob raced over, heart pounding, hitting a biter with the butt of his gun. Swiftly aiming, he shot the biter before it could resume the attack.
Bob seized the biter biting on Andy's spear, tossing it aside, causing nearby biters to stumble and fall. Another biter snatched Bob, pulling him into the horde. "NO! NO!" Andy yelled, despair looming.
Suddenly, Mars charged through the biters, stabbing the one gripping Bob just in time as the biters redirected their attention to Mars. "Fucking run!" Mars barked, throwing his head back, smacking a biter in the nose, sending it reeling.
Bob swiftly rose as a biter knelt down, attempting to bite. He tilted the rifle, shoved it into the biter's mouth, and pulled the trigger.
Andy reached for Bob, grabbing his hand and pulling him over. Mars crouched down, letting a biter stumble and topple over his body.
Lifting his foot, Mars stomped on the biter's head. "GO! GO!" he yelled, stabbing another biter.
Andy winced, then looked at Bob. "Let's give them that show." Bob nodded, and they sprinted towards the office building, reaching it in a burst of adrenaline.
Bob entered the room, surveyed his desk, then locked eyes with a safe. "Alright." He glanced at the panting Andy, blocking the door with a grunt.
"Are you good, Andy?" Bob inquired. Andy looked back at him, pausing. "Y-yeah. I think," he replied.
Bob nodded hesitantly before kneeling down and fiddling with the safe code, successfully opening it. "What a beauty." Bob grinned and pulled out a box of fireworks.
"Let's light them up." Bob beamed, and Andy looked over, snickering. "One last show for the world to see," Andy declared, leaning against the barricades. "I'll get them set up." He observed the biters, previously chasing them, now limping away.
"Mars got a hold of them," Bob mentioned. Andy chuckled. "He definitely could have done that sooner."
In the forest, Elaine sat with binoculars in hand, raising them to watch the horde. "So, they're in now," Elaine spoke.
Doro adjusted his mask and helmet, only his orange eyes visible. "Yeah. Captain got the horde in a ravine and then led them there. It took a while. But we did it." He chuckled through the mask, watching the horde from afar.
A soldier asked Doro, "Do you know when we will strike?" Doro looked at the soldier. "When I say we will. For now, let our little pets handle this." He patted the soldier's shoulder.
Soldiers chatted about various things regarding the situation. "Do you wish The Three Black Widows were here right now?" a soldier inquired, and Doro couldn't help but laugh.
"Hell no. If they found out about how we do things, I'm sure they will turn against us," Doro responded. "For now, those superhuman nutjobs are handling another nutjob in Japan. For all we know, they could be dead."
