Chapter 8 - Information and Right Choice - Chapter 8

Alia walked alongside her master, the desolate landscape stretching before them. Intrigued by recent events, she couldn't help but voice her thoughts:

"Master Garmian, who could this man be? The one who killed the White Mummy?"

Master Garmian, his demeanor wise and contemplative, responded,

"Alia, the world is vast and filled with individuals of varying motives and abilities.

It could be anyone—a rogue adventurer seeking glory, a skilled bounty hunter after a reward, or even a rival seeking to eliminate competition. In this vast expanse, the possibilities are endless."

Alia nodded, absorbing the wisdom in her master's words. The uncertainty of the situation mirrored the unpredictability of their journey in the expansive world they traversed.

At that time, Alia turned to look at the young man and asked

"Did you finish your meditation, Kremias?"

Kremias shook his head and added

"You know that I am working to learn about exploring and finding truths; the thing is that my class is Mindful Monk, so I need more meditation and knowledge."

Alia nodded and smiled as she added.

"At least you are not a legendary watcher; those people are just funny."

Kremias nodded.

All of the people who enter a path to improve themselves and their lives, classified as pathtakers, knew that the legendary watcher class was the hardest to keep on improving, as without knowledge, they could not even cast spells to protect themselves.

It is a known fact in the circle of Pathtakers that people who are chosen as Legendary Watchers are people who think too much of themselves and then stay behind all others.

The conversation between Alia and Kremias was heard by Master Garmian. He looked at them and shook his head, showing his dissatisfaction.

"You guys are still too inexperienced."

As they continued their journey, Garmian, the seasoned mentor, began to impart his insights to Alia and Kremias about the Legendary Watcher class.

The wind carried his words as he spoke:

"Alia, Kremias, understand this well. The path of the legendary watcher is arduous, and improvement comes with great challenges.

Yet, if one can master it, it is the most powerful class, granting unparalleled abilities."

He paused, his gaze fixed on the horizon, and said,

"Stay true to your knowledge and understanding. In the pursuit of this class, wisdom and insight are your greatest allies. It requires patience, a keen perception of the world, and an unwavering dedication to the mysteries that unfold before you."

Alia and Kremias listened intently, absorbing the gravity of Garmian's words. The Legendary Watcher class was not for the faint of heart, and Garmian's guidance emphasized the importance of steadfastness on their chosen path.

As Alia and Kremias walked alongside Garmian, they exchanged glances but remained silent about his words.

Within the confines of their thoughts, they privately debated the wisdom of choosing the path of the legendary watcher.

"Is he serious about this being the most powerful class?"

Alia pondered, her expression contemplative.

Kremias, wearing a skeptical look, replied in his mind, "I don't know. It sounds like a lot of effort for uncertain rewards. I prefer something more straightforward."

Despite their reservations, they kept their thoughts to themselves, maintaining a respectful silence in the presence of their experienced mentor.

The journey continued, with the weight of Garmian's words lingering in the air, leaving Alia and Kremias with a choice to make about their own destinies.

Aron sat under a tree and started meditating. He focused on the matter of controlling the origin energy. When it comes to imagination and knowledge, because he is from Earth, he has many memories that he can use to imagine and many pieces of knowledge that he can use that others cannot.

"Also, with the ability to scan, the problem of collecting knowledge should not be a problem for myself."

Aron felt good about himself as things were going well. He has his plans in mind, but he is not sure about one thing.

"I don't know what I should do here, what my purpose is, or what I wanted to do back on Earth but could not do but can do here."
