It's not been long since the offensive against Dragon Sleep Valley was detected; only a few people from the various fortresses and battle zones at the frontline had managed to retreat.
There simply wasn't enough time.
Now was definitely not the time for a blind retreat.
At each camp, the command abilities of the fortress generals were all above standard. They immediately stopped the retreat operations and directed the warriors in each defense section to prepare for battle. Above the fortresses, powerful city defense weapons began to rattle out barrages that tore through the Azure Sky.
As the monster wave approached within range, the warriors operating ordinary weapons also commenced firing one after another.
