The interior of the Endless Library was vast with wide pathways.
Underneath the high-ceiling, which was several tens of meters above, Lanci and Zestira found that the lights around them would illuminate step by step as they walked further in, much like the opening sequence of a play.
The library, with its classical theater design, hosted numerous magic books on its large bookshelves. In the dim light, the occasional ghostlike page could be seen floating through the air.
Below, black marble floors outlined with gold emitted a faint glow. At times, it would suddenly become apparent that the floor was actually a massive magic screen capable of displaying various dazzling colors and information guides.
The first unambiguous area was an open reading area leading to a hallway. Beyond this the red carpet from the end of the hall extended all the way to the reception desk of a conference room.
The two followed the carpet directly to the reception desk, and then into the conference room.
