Li Xuan flipped through the ancient leather-bound book, page by page. There were a total of eighteen pages, each one depicting a different pattern.
But each time he looked at a page for the first time, it seemed to represent some kind of landscape or other pattern, but on a second look, it appeared to be random scribbles.
On the third look, it seemed to have transformed into another pattern entirely.
The more he looked, the more confused he became, and the less he understood. He wasn't even sure what the drawings were supposed to represent.
"This book is somewhat special, but I don't understand it."
Li Xuan fell into deep thought.
Closing the ancient leather-bound book, he looked at the words "Taicang" and couldn't help but wonder, "What does 'Taicang' mean?"
Unable to resist, Li Xuan opened the ancient book again. This time, it seemed as if the patterns drawn within had somehow changed.
The lines had definitely not altered.
