With these usable devices, all Chen Yang and his team needed was to extract some low-temperature diesel fuel from the Snowfield Cruiser, generate electricity, and set the motors in motion to lower the steel cable. In this way, they had completely restored the function of the device created by the former Soviet Union.
Despite all the equipment being ready, the problem of who to send down next presented a new challenge.
