The lit-up mobile phone screen was displaying a notification for a new text message.
Usually, calling and texting are ordinary functions of a mobile phone, and certainly won't surprise anyone. However, receiving a text message when there's no signal is chilling.
"Hmm, a text message?"
"How could this be? Clearly, there's no signal. So, how could we receive a text message?"
No matter how many questions they had, they were best answering by reading the text themselves.
"Chosen ones, welcome to the Nightmare World. As newcomers, you have the right to receive a newcomer gift. Please choose one of the following five items to assist in your mission— bread, water, torch, dagger, key."
"What the hell is this?"
After reading the message, everyone looked at each other in confusion, not understanding a thing.
What did they mean by Nightmare World? Chosen ones? Newcomers? Was this some sort of movie?
