This sudden battery revolution, which in a few short days became the focus of the entire world, has sparked endless social discussion.
Unsurprisingly, the first to be hit hard is oil. International oil prices dropped dramatically to $30.15 a barrel, not only making oil-exporting countries like Russia and Venezuela change face, but also causing instability in the Middle East and other oil-exporting countries around the world.
Oil, as the primary form of transportation energy for humans, has already produced hundreds of billions of tons. Being a material-based energy, the energy exists in the form of matter, making it convenient for both storage and transport.
So far, a complete alternative to oil hasn't been found. One could say that oil underpins the foundation of human society.
