The series of explosions Fujita orchestrated were quite real, earnestly designed to create an opportunity for Chen Yang. In order to pave the way for him, Fujita ruthlessly staged dozens of blasts in the streets outside the conference building. By the time Chen Yang emerged, there were still the shrill sounds of sirens and plumes of black smoke reaching for the sky.
Large groups of protesting civilians gathered outside scattered in panic, affording Chen Yang a prime opportunity to escape.
Within moments, he had taken out more than a dozen mechanical police units. Reassembling additional reinforcements was not something that could be accomplished within a matter of seconds. Yet, those few seconds were all Chen Yang needed to flee.
With Chen Yang's current skill level, escaping was feasible as long as he didn't deliberately choose a suicidal path. No one could stop him if he decided to leave.
