When ORIGIN hit the ground, the shock wave generated immediately caused buildings within a one-kilometer radius from the point of impact to be completely destroyed, buildings within ten kilometers to be damaged, and glass windows up to one hundred kilometers away to shatter.
The disastrous part is not that there were sixty-four ORIGINs, but that they all landed in sixty-four major cities. The impacts, comparable to small-scale nuclear bombs, instantaneously killed an estimated two to three hundred million people worldwide at the same moment.
Of course, this is the total sum. Some cities were not severely damaged, such as New York.
The ORIGIN that hit New York landed precisely on the small island where the Statue of Liberty is located. The majority of the shock wave it caused was absorbed by the seawater, thus causing only minor damage to the city on both sides of the river.
