"Hoo..."
A gust of cool wind, carrying dry leaves, brushed past Chen Yang. He opened a half of the chocolate bar's wrapper, revealing its dark exterior. He held it out and offered, "Hmm... chocolate. Do you want some?"
The little girl had waist-length blonde hair and a slightly thin face that showed malnutrition. But in her clear eyes, Chen Yang noticed a pair of wary and vigilant gaze.
It was a gaze fit for an adult — the kind that had experienced the trials of life. Such a gaze should not belong to this little girl of her age.
Chen Yang was taken aback slightly. He sighed, broke off half of the chocolate and chewed it slowly, to show that it was harmless. He then waved the remaining half of the chocolate bar, "Chocolate. Do you understand? It's food. Delicious food. There's no problem…"
