A flash of silver, and the heterodox Nascent Soul, recently perhaps more accurately called a 'heterodox incarnation', appeared into view, holding a monster beast unique to the Western Desert known as the 'sand worm'.
This beast was as thick as an adult's arm, with a skin so tough that even low-ranked cultivators using magical equipment would struggle to cut through it. It emitted a faint level-two Demon Qi.
Now, it had been immobilized by Fang Xi's magic power and dropped onto the wilderness.
Fang Xi sat cross-legged, staring intently at the monster beast.
An hour passed, then two...
The beast showed no signs of change, still lively and jumping around. If not for the prohibition, it would have already run away...
