In the blink of an eye,
twenty years had passed.
The Domain wars were long-lasting, often the time spent traveling equaling a lifetime for ordinary mortals. Had it not been for contraceptive magic, many babies might have already been born within the fleet, grown up, and began going to school and preparing for college entrance exams.
The Steel Fleet burst into the red twilight of the Boundary Wall.
The temperature around them suddenly soared to several thousands of degrees Celsius; looking around, the sky and earth were a unified fiery red. Clusters of flames swayed with the wind, like trees in a breeze.
The Gangwind Layer had completely turned into a layer of fire-winds.
Only upon breaking through the Gangwind Layer and entering the clouds did the temperature start to decline. Colors other than fiery red began to appear, but it was still in the hundreds of degrees, enough to steam an ordinary person alive.
There was no ambush.
