The setting sun cast a fiery glow across the western sky. A commercial airplane from Bangkok gently descended onto the runway at East Sea International Airport. After sliding along for some distance, it came to a steady standstill.
As the cabin door opened, Chen Fan disembarked alone, under the stewardess's radiant smile.
Unlike usual, there was nobody waiting for him on the airport runway.
Inside the airport building, a man dressed in a sporty outfit and wearing his baseball cap pointed forward, immediately reported via radio, "Director, Dragon Tooth has arrived in East Sea, alone. Please, give instructions."
"Continue tracking."
A authoritative voice echoed through the radio. The agents, who had been waiting for a long time, did not delay. They immediately initiated the pursuit.
