Northerners are not used to the damp cold of the South's winter, likewise, Southerners are not accustomed to the dry cold of the North.
Yanjing is an authentic representation of the North, and even though its winter is not as cold as in the Northeast, it's temperature is dramatically lower compared to East Sea. As a result, Susan, who grew up in East Sea, had a hard time adjusting.
