"I'm sorry, but I know Li Sisi is an investor from Hong Kong, yet she's suspected of kidnapping. Unfortunately, she has to come with us to the Coast Police Station for an investigation," Harrison shrugged his shoulders, producing a regretful smile.
"Suspected of kidnapping? Major, there must be some mistake. Miss Li Sisi has always been law-abiding and respected in our city, and she herself is a billionaire. Could she really do something so absurd?" Wilson's expression was full of disbelief.
"Heh, Mr. Mayor, I only mentioned a suspicion, and so, I apologize, but to clear Miss Li Sisi's name, I'm sure you won't interfere with her coming to the police station with us," Harrison's tone was very polite, but the intent to take Li Sisi away was unmistakable.
Wilson chuckled and said, "Of course, as the mayor, I would not interfere with the Major carrying out the law, but Miss Li Sisi's legal team has already arrived. I trust you wouldn't deny Miss Li Sisi a meeting with her lawyers."
