"This spot is nice, right? We're safe here." The prisoner seemed quite smug.
Zhang Ziwen nodded, taking a good look at the prisoner. He appeared to be in his thirties, thin, wearing gold rimmed glasses, looking scholarly rather than brutal like most other criminals. Ziwen scanned the situation, realizing his hiding spot lay just outside the riot zone. The guards were not far, and they had spotted Ziwen and the other man, but chose to leave them alone.
"You're Chinese, right, big bro? Your martial arts skills are impressive." The glasses-wearing prisoner complimented. Ziwen's moves had been terrifying to him, he was the sole inmate who got a clear look at Ziwen incapacitating somebody.
Ziwen just chuckled softly without responding. He was only temporarily holed up here, there was no need to make friends with a prisoner.
But it seemed this glasses-wearing prisoner admired Ziwen greatly, and didn't care if Ziwen was interested or not, he enthusiastically introduced himself.
