After hanging up the laundry, Wu Min returned to the villa and saw Zhang Ziwen coming down the stairs. She naturally made her way into the kitchen. In no time at all, glasses of milk and a freshly baked cake were sitting on the dining table, along with fried eggs and sausage still steaming hot from the pan.
As long as Wu Min wasn't bickering with Zhang Ziwen, she indeed was the perfect woman – capable both in the drawing room and the kitchen. Seeing her gentle and virtuous side, Zhang Ziwen felt quite conflicted about his feelings for Wu Min. On one hand, he wanted to improve her impression of him, but on the other hand, he couldn't help but indulge in the conflicts and friction between them. He was mystified by his own feelings which seemed both strange and complex.
