Ren Feifan looked at the remaining man, snorted coldly, and pointed his longsword, "Who gave you the guts to lay a hand on my Sacred Gate!"
The man eyed the glimmering silver of the sword before him and then glanced at his dead companion, his pupils constricted, but there was not a trace of fear on him. Instead, he spoke coldly,
"I guess you're that Ren Feifan the elder mentioned! You don't seem all that impressive. Drop your sword now, and I might let today's incident slide; otherwise, do you know the consequences of your actions!"
"Consequences?" Ren Feifan snorted, "As if killing someone would have any consequences worth mentioning! Not to mention you're a dog of the Ye family; even if your master were here, I'd kill him just the same!"
The man was taken aback, clearly not expecting Ren Feifan to recognize him as a member of the Ye family so quickly.
Since he was recognized, there was no point in hiding it any longer.
