"Let's get started!"
President Zheng wiped his sweat and spoke seriously.
He walked over to Young Master Xu and, with the anesthesia doctor's nod, he picked up the scalpel without hesitation and quickly cut open Young Master Xu's body. It was as simple as unscrewing a nut.
This reflected President Zheng's profound skills and over a decade of surgical experience.
"President Zheng still has it. His skills would rank high nationwide, I guess!"
A few assistants glanced at him admiringly, their respect flowing like a torrential river.
Time slowly passed.
About half an hour later, more and more sweat appeared on President Zheng's forehead. A nurse wiped his forehead, only to find his hand had stopped. He then inexplicably sighed.
President Zheng knew full well that Young Master Xu's problem was not as straightforward as it seemed.
This sigh made everyone tense up. Everyone turned to look at President Zheng and saw disappointment in his eyes.
"We can't continue the operation. The patient's problem is much more complicated than we thought. Notify the family immediately. We must transfer him to another hospital. My guess is that only the equipment at Jiangnan Province Hospital and Elder Xun can handle it!"
"President Zheng, but the patient is already on death's door. Transferring him carries a high risk."
An older doctor spoke seriously, unaware of the patient's true identity.
President Zheng glanced at the man, saying:
"The main problem for the patient is not the bleeding but the poisoning. We can stop the bleeding, but our hospital doesn't have the matching serum for the poison.
The distance from Lin City to Jiangnan Provincial Hospital is not that far. If we transfer him now and get in touch with the hospital in Jiangnan Province, everything will be fine!"
President Zheng removed his gloves and mask and walked a few steps. Suddenly, he turned back and looked at the doctor.
"Also, I'm the President here. I don't need a deputy teaching me. You better know your place!"
Everyone in the operating room fell silent. President Zheng was known for his good temper; why did he lose it all of a sudden?
Meanwhile, outside the operating room:
Ren Feifan frowned because when the doctors opened up the man's body, he clearly saw a thick green smoke coming out of the man's body, even obscured his vital energy.
Poisoned!
This was Ren Feifan's first reaction.
As for poison, Ren Feifan could previously handle simple snake and insect bites, but what was inside the man was clearly not that.
From the changes in his organs and the spots on his body, the poison appeared to be man-made.
It definitely was not a toxin caused by an animal bite.
The seventh needle of the Death Thirteen had a detoxifying effect.
Thinking of this, Ren Feifan found another stream of information flowing into his brain.
Even though the technique was called Death Thirteen, there are actually thirteen sets of needle methods. Each set could cure corresponding diseases effectively.
However, Ren Feifan didn't do anything; he didn't have a medical practitioner's license, and he had never used the Death Thirteen.
If he were to act recklessly and something went wrong, he would be in deep trouble.
Therefore, Ren Feifan chose to observe the situation.
...
"Ding!"
With the operation room light on, the door was opened.
The burly man didn't hesitate and rushed up. Seeing the hint of regret on President Zheng's face, he had an ill premonition.
"What's the condition of Young Master Xu?"
He practically roared.
"Well, the situation is not optimistic. The main reason why the patient lost consciousness is not blood loss, but poisoning…"
President Zheng spoke carefully, well aware that the man in front of him had a violent temper and could make a scene at any moment.
"Poisoned?"
The burly man thought for a moment but could not figure out why Young Master Xu could have been poisoned. Could it have been those guys?
Not good!
The burly man immediately said: "then you guys hurry up and detoxify him!"
"Here's the thing, we have already stopped Young Master Xu's bleeding and his wound, but the poison is extremely complex, and we don't have a matching serum here.
If we rush treatment, the results are predictable. So, the most conservative plan is to transfer him to Jiangnan Province. The equipment and serum reserves in Jiangnan Province can certainly cure Young Master Xu."
"You fucking bastards! Isn't this a first-class hospital? You don't even have serum! Do you think Young Master Xu can endure a transfer!"
The burly man was almost going mad, and a stream of obscenities burst out.
Everyone present didn't know what to say.
Suddenly, an alarm sounded from the ward, making everyone shiver.
Perspiration was pouring down President Zheng's forehead.
Huh? Why is the alarm going off? Has it begun to spread throughout the body?
Damn it!
President Zheng originally thought that the poison would have almost spread by the time the patient was transferred to Jiangnan Provincial Hospital. But if it was spreading now, then clearly they were at fault!
The burly man naturally knew what the alarm meant. A violent rage surged in his chest, and he grabbed President Zheng's collar: "Get the fuck back there and cure him now! If anything happens to Young Master Xu, no one leaves this operating room today!"
President Zheng frowned and ran back in without hesitation. But as soon as he saw the readings on the computer monitor, his face changed.
"Quick, quick, prepare the resuscitation voltage!"
"Ding..." Suddenly the vital signs monitor line went flat.
Everyone felt like they had been struck by lightning at this straight electrocardiogram line!
The burly man clenched his fists, showing no expression. He could barely contain his impulse to kill. He knew very well that a flat EKG doesn't mean death as such, it now depends on decisive and timely actions by the doctors. And now, he regretted bringing Young Master Xu to this broken hospital.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The repeated shocks didn't change a thing; sweat beads were continuously falling from President Zheng's forehead.
He knew very well; it was impossible for him to keep his position after this!
...
Just at this critical moment, "Boom!" The operation room door was forced open.
Everyone was startled to see a plainly dressed man who had apparently forced open the door to the operating room.
Ren Feifan hesitated outside for a long while before finally deciding to give it a try.
He was indifferent about life and death, but from the moment he received the medical inheritance, he was very aware that the greater the capability, the greater the responsibility.
On the battlefield, he could be indifferent to others' lives and deaths, but in the hospital, he couldn't stand by and do nothing!
Doctors must have a merciful heart. If he let that man die without trying to save him, he would definitely be troubled in his heart.
