The flight from Hongcheng Airport in Hongjiang Province to Jiangzhou Airport in Jiangbei Province landed on time at Jiangzhou International Airport at 3:30 in the afternoon.
For this trip, Nie Zhenbang was very low-key. Jiangbei Province didn't make a big fuss about it, either. If it wasn't for the case seriously requiring it, Wang Chenglong, the top leader of Jiangbei Province, would never have agreed to Chen Yazhou's request to ask Nie Zhenbang to get involved.
Just like ordinary passengers, Nie Zhenbang and Chen Le disembarked from the plane and walked out of the airport through the passageway.
At the airport entrance, right as Nie Zhenbang and Chen Le emerged, someone came up to greet them—it was Wen Yuhe, an old acquaintance of Nie Zhenbang and the former head of the United Front Work Department of the Liangxi City Committee.
It's been almost fourteen years since Nie Zhenbang left Liangxi. Back then, Wen Yuhe was only in his forties; now, he was in his fifties.
