The route to the western suburbs of Yanjing was congested, but as we reached Xiangshan, we saw a crowd gathered at the foot of the mountain. It looked like there was some argument going on.
Out of curiosity, Li Huai and others approached to see what was happening. It turned out to be a quarrel between a group of tourists from other places and their tour guide. Both sides were red-faced with anger. The tour guides, except for one woman, were all arrogant brutes. Their insults were unbearable to hear.
"Damn it! When I say pay up, you'd better pay up, or get the hell out of Yanjing!" a female tour guide shouted, hands on her hips.
