Tan Le knew that Li Huai couldn't drive and intended to arrange for someone to drive him home. Li Huai initially refused out of courtesy, but to his surprise, Tan Le didn't insist. Therefore, he had to hitch a ride home.
As soon as he left the Tan family's residence, Li Huai couldn't help but smack his own forehead; he had left the house without any money yet again, not even a penny on him.
He was a few kilometers away from the city centre and even further from Haitian Mansion. Li Huai was not too proud to suffer unnecessarily, so he thought of going back and asking Tan Le for cab fare.
Suddenly, a black Rolls-Royce unexpectedly pulled up in front of him. The individual who disembarked from the car turned out to be Jiang Hu, Bao Qian'er's bodyguard.
"Li Huai, what a coincidence! Where are you heading? Would you like a lift?" Jiang Hu directly approached him to shake hands. He had tremendous admiration for Li Huai.
