Dongfang Wenjing saw Jiang Hao was about to strike Li Huai, she quickly stepped between them and said, "Jiang Hao, if you don't want to see me again, go ahead and strike!"
Dongfang Wenjing's defense for Li Huai had planted a grudge in Jiang Hao's heart. Now, her threat on Li Huai's behalf only infuriated him further.
"Wenjing, why are you being so kind to him?!" Jiang Hao growled.
"Because I like being good to him!" Dongfang Wenjing lifted her face. If she had mentioned that Li Huai had saved her life, perhaps Jiang Hao might have left them alone out of respect for her. However, her confession of 'like' caused Jiang Hao to lose all rationality.
"Like? You like him? Then what am I to you?!" There seemed to be a glimmer of tears in Jiang Hao's blood-red eyes, revealing his genuine feelings for Dongfang Wenjing.
"We're already over!"
