Fan Jian, the head of West Gate's police station in Wolong Mountain Town, gave a hell of a scare to the citizens of Xiaobaikou Village congregated outside the station. After insulting a few, he grumbled his way back to his office.
"Ha! A bunch of troublemakers think they can stir up a riot here? That's overstepping their boundaries! Don't they know who I am? I'm the head of this station, I can arrest whoever I want. If I want to release someone, who the hell do you think you are to say otherwise!"
Then Fan Jian made a call, his anger disappearing as he pleaded, "Miss Qin; I've got the guy, but there's a crowd of troublemakers insisting I let him go. You know how lethal online public opinion can be. I can't make it too blatant, I need your help."
