The professional assassin he caught previously had something to offer, something that Li Huai had forced out of him.
According to this fellow, the so-called Ghost Crab specialized in providing work for other assassins. Put plainly, he was something of a 'Murder Broker'.
Ghost Crab's existence severed the connection between the employers and the assassins, and because of this, his business was always pretty good.
The job involving Liu Xiangli was one that Ghost Crab had passed on to another assassin. Since the assassin knew very little about the employer, maybe Ghost Crab knew something else?
