"Ah, why hasn't he come out yet?"
Xu Hu stared in the direction of the Treasure Pavilion, his anxiety growing like an ant on a hot pan, constantly rubbing his hands and sighing. He was genuinely worried that Ye Xiaofei might have been caught. Otherwise, why hadn't he emerged yet?
"He's out."
Ye Xiaofei patted a startled Xu Hu on the shoulder from behind, and as the latter quickly turned his head, he immediately exclaimed excitedly upon seeing the former.
"Hmm."
Ye Xiaofei nodded, having left Zhou Qimeng's room just as security personnel were about to search it. Fearing discovery, he hadn't alerted anyone and had left ahead of time.
"Did you get it?"
Xu Hu looked at the empty-handed Ye Xiaofei, who possessed a space ring, unsure whether or not the mission was successful, so he asked.
"No, I couldn't find it."
