"Neng, you, what's going on with you?"
Deng Chaoyue looked at Ye Xiaofei incredulously, frightened out of his wits, and found himself stammering, unable to speak, in the pitch-black corridor where he couldn't even tell if Ye Xiaofei was a human or a ghost.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking what's going on? Mayor Li Gang."
Ye Xiaofei's face suddenly turned incredibly sinister, and a coldness emerged from within him. It had absolutely nothing to do with him, whether it was Grandpa Gao or Deng Chaoyue who had been poisoned.
But what he couldn't tolerate was someone trying to harm him. Ye Xiaofei's principle was clear: if others don't harm me, I won't harm them; but if someone does harm me, I'll return the favor.
He was both perplexed and puzzled, why would Deng Chaoyue want to kill him? Holding onto the struggling Deng Chaoyue, Ye Xiaofei moved him to the window and let him hang in midair, his cold voice rang out, "If you don't want to die, then confess honestly."
