Zhang Miao hung up the phone and then knocked on the door beside her.
After a short while, the door opened and Su Xiaoxi's figure appeared at the doorway.
"Hi, dear." Zhang Miao held up the shopping bag in her hand and smiled faintly, "I brought your favorite pickled plums."
It was then that Su Xiaoxi realized, "Miao Miao, how did you know I was here?"
Zhang Miao smiled faintly, "How many years have we been best friends? Don't I understand you?"
"Uh.. come in, quick." Su Xiaoxi stepped aside.
Zhang Miao carried the shopping bag and walked in.
This was a neighborhood in Hangcheng. When Su Xiaoxi and Zhang Miao first came to Hangcheng, they rented a room together for six months, and the lease wasn't up yet.
Zhang Miao set down the bag of pickled plums and then said lightly, "Have you been drinking?"
