The King's Game originated from the neighboring island nation, and it has gradually become popular in South Korea, Taiwan, and the mainland in recent years. The rules of the game are actually straightforward.
If there are five players, then you draw the Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5 of hearts from a deck of cards plus a joker, for a total of six cards—the Ace counts as number 1.
After shuffling, each person takes a card as their own hidden card. This is critical—the number on the hidden card cannot be revealed to anyone else, it can only be known to the holder.
The person who gets the Joker has to expose it, thus becoming the "King".
There is still one card left on the table, this card is the "King"'s number and it must not be seen.
This is really important.
In the game, there have been many instances of the kings digging their own graves because of this card.
If no one draws the Joker, meaning that the one on the table is the Joker, then the cards need to be reshuffled and drawn again.
