About ten minutes later, Yang Fei returned holding two pairs of ice skates.
"These are your battle boots." Yang Fei handed a pair of ice skates to Yang Gang.
"So, where is the rink?" Yang Gang asked weakly.
Pointing to the creek in front of them, Yang Fei said, "Freeze it."
Yang Gang wiped the cold sweat off his forehead, "Feifei, this creek may be shallow, but it's flowing. If you freeze the mid part of it, the water upstream will accumulate and the lower part will stop flowing, fish will die. Are you sure you want to freeze the creek?"
Yang Fei's face flushed a little, her ten fingers interlocking: "Alright, alright, enough with your preaching. Let's find another place."
After much trekking and effort, the two finally found a pond.
Yang Gang, with one hand outstretched, immediately froze the pond.
Not entirely convinced, Yang Fei tested the pond's solidity by throwing some stones on it. She then put on her ice skates and cautiously stepped onto the pond.
