Murong Liuli stepped into the living room, noted the several people huddled at the dining table, and finally let her gaze rest on Yang Gang and Su Ying. She shot them a cold smile before turning to leave.
"Wait a moment. Liuli, didn't you see we have guests? You don't even bother to greet them. I don't remember raising such a rude daughter," Yan Hong blankly remarked.
Murong Liuli gave a mirthless smile, "Mom, it's not that I refused to greet them. It's mainly because your niece here keeps her guard up, afraid I'd steal her boyfriend."
Yan Hong slammed the table, reprimanding with fury, "Liuli! Watch your mouth! Apologize to Su Ying."
Su Ying looked at Yan Hong whose face simmered with anger, and then at Murong Liuli who smiled tauntingly. She quickly interjected, "Aunt, I'm alright."
