Gu Xiaorou trembled slightly, her fists clenched tightly. She struggled to control her emotions and calmly said, "Since I can't see Chris, I will leave first."
"Wait." the blonde woman spoke again: "I heard from Carmen that something has happened to one of your friend's households. His house is closed down and his father is arrested. You want Chris to help them?"
Gu Xiaorou remained silent.
The blonde woman chuckled: "It seems that this friend of yours is very important to you. Is he a man?"
Gu Xiaorou still did not respond.
The blonde woman smirked: "Gu Xiaorou, isn't I right? You are born to be a seductress. Don't you have a boyfriend? Does that man have a wife or a fiancee too?"
"It doesn't concern you." Gu Xiaorou replied neutrally.
Gu Xiaorou's indifference angered the blonde woman. She slammed the table and yelled, "Gu Xiaorou, stop taking advantage of my kindness! I am doing you a great favor by seeing you today. Don't push your luck!"
