"Boom!"
At this critical moment, with no clear option for escape, Beyoncé suddenly raised the Skull Cane, that she still held in her hand, high up into the air.
The skull atop the cane, at this very moment, seemed to spring to life, opening its mouth wide and swallowing almost all of the energy Wang Chao had fired at Beyoncé!
However, the dark and grim skull couldn't withstand such a massive, full charge of energy.
The entire skull turned golden yellow and visibly began to swell at a rapid rate until, with a boom, it exploded!
Yet, indeed, that skull had swallowed a significant portion of the energy Wang Chao had sent over. The remaining smaller portion, although still powerful, rushed towards Beyoncé. However, it posed much less of a threat to her now.
But Beyoncé was still forced to stagger back a few steps from the impact of the small ball of energy, coughing up a mouthful or two of fresh blood.
