Yves King was very clear that with his impulsive personality if he had known that the person who shot from behind was Liam Stevens, he would have sought him out without regard for his own life, which would inevitably lead to a disastrous outcome. Because for him, Liam Stevens was just a minor character, unlike Fabian Lane with whom he had shared life-and-death experiences. So, after much consideration, Fabian Lane, for the sake of his brother's safety, took the initiative to shoulder everything himself, even if it meant being misunderstood by Yves King or getting battered by his brothers. Upon thinking of this, Yves King felt even more guilt towards Director Lane. Despite all of his wrongs, Yves King would always regard him as his good brother in his heart.
