After leaving the noisy city center, a line of cars headed to the suburbs, picking up speed as they drove rapidly forward. About fifteen minutes later, Nathan looked back at Yves King, who was still sleeping, and said, "Brother Yves, we're almost at the hotel where that Tokyo chick is staying."
Yves King, looking slightly lethargic, sat up and stretched, cracking his neck with a series of pops, and then looked out through the car window.
In the distance, a cluster of western-style houses nestled amidst green lawns, with an artificial lake to the right, where a few tourists were seen boating and enjoying the scenery. Behind them lay a verdant mountain range, with a European-style mansion on the mountain standing out conspicuously. To the left was a large golf course dotted with white sightseeing cars, and here and there, a few golfers could be seen swinging their clubs.
