"Winning with the final draw." Yves King bragged, a grin splitting his face, he beamed and slapped down his final tile, looking ostentatious and ridiculously cocky. Perhaps with a little help from Lady Luck, Yves King was on an unbeatable streak today. He had been so furious earlier, watching helplessly as these women ganged up on Wendy Quay, leaving her flushed and mortified. It frustrated him even more that he couldn't interfere, as he was preoccupied with taking care of Maeve.
Now, after finally managing to put Maeve to bed, Yves King immediately dashed to the Mahjong table and started showing off his skills. Initially, his only intention was to deflate their pride and seek justice for Wendy. That was the spirit that fueled him to join the game.
