At first, Mabel Cooper thought the call was from Faye Owen. However, as she listened, the voice didn't seem right. She began to wonder if Yves King had brought home another mistress.
Subconsciously, she leaned in to listen. Though it wasn't very clear, could Mabel not recognize her own daughter's voice? Its tone was flirtatious and coy, a bit more teasing than usual.
