Seeing the astonished look on Yves King's face, Dahlia Sanders couldn't help but feel a bit smug, "You were quite impressive at school today, weren't you? You nearly defeated both Teacher Quay and me. Now why, all of a sudden, you've lost your nerve?"
"Can your mouth take a break?" Yves King snarled, puffing on his cigarette, "One day, you'll push me too far and I'll have to put you in your place."
"Uncle, you're all talk, but deep down, you're quite soft. I like that about you," Dahlia Sanders said nonchalantly, patting him on the shoulder, "Come on, help me with my homework."
"Homework?" Yves King was surprised, "All that pleading about spending one hour with me...is that just to do homework?"
"Uncle," Dahlia said with an innocent look on her face. "Did you really think that this would involve lovey-dovey activities? Dream on! This is my treat. Don't welsh on me, Uncle!"
