Dawn Sutton lived alone in the teachers' apartment, and now that both of her feet were injured and wrapped in several layers of gauze by Basil Jaak, even walking became problematic, let alone doing anything else.
With no other choice, she had to agree to Basil Jaak's suggestion that he move in.
The teachers' apartment was a small two-bedroom unit. Once Basil Jaak moved in, Dawn had to let him clear out a room for himself and then bring over anything he might need temporarily.
From start to finish, Dawn just sat in the wheelchair (bought by Basil Jaak), watching helplessly.
When Basil Jaak had the room tidied up and came out, he saw Dawn Sutton had wheeled herself to the restroom door.
Due to the narrow restroom door, Dawn's wheelchair was too wide to fit through.
After several attempts, it still didn't work, and Dawn suddenly became anxious.
