After spending two days with Debby Sutton in Rong City, Basil Jaak flew back to East Sea City.
Taking a cab back to East Sea Landscape, he hadn't even entered the yard when he heard a familiar voice.
"Humph, Basil Jaak is so despicable, hiding a beauty in the golden house. White, did Basil Jaak bully you? If he bullied you, wait until he returns, and I'll seek revenge for you!"
It was Xenia Wendleton's voice. Basil Jaak was puzzled. How did this young lady end up in East Sea?
"Nothing of the sort, Xenia. Now, we've lost contact with Basil Jaak. He went to Cloud Province, and we don't know how he is doing, whether he has encountered any dangers," Lydia White's worried voice came from inside the house.
Basil Jaak walked into the yard and saw a tiger. Just as the tiger was about to speak, Basil Jaak quickly made a shushing gesture, then quietly stood outside the house, curiously listening to the conversation between the two women inside.
