Dawn Sutton stepped out from the bathroom only to see her sister, Debby Sutton, standing by the door. Startled, she asked, "Sis, you haven't gone to bed yet?"
Debby looked at Dawn and spoke, "Your eyes are swollen from crying and yet you pretend nothing is wrong."
Upon hearing Debby's words, Dawn quickly lowered her gaze, a glint of panic flashing across her face.
Debby gently shook her head, her tone heavy with sincerity as she said to Dawn, "Bonnie, I believe it's time for us to have a serious talk."
"Now?" Dawn asked in surprise.
Debby nodded lightly, heading towards Dawn's room as she spoke, "Yes, I want to talk to you now."
Feeling slightly guilty, Dawn watched Debby's retreating figure. Could it be that she discovered something? Although Dawn desperately wanted to deny it, she knew that, based on Debby's behavior, she must have found out something.
