The night was dark and stormy, contrasting sharply with the moonlight from the previous night.
"Hey, didn't you say that you can untie the ropes on your hands?" Fenny Marshall urged as soon as night fell.
Basil Jaak replied with a smile, "You're really impatient, aren't you?"
"Just get on with it!" Fenny Marshall said impatiently, "The ropes are hurting my hands. Once you've undone yours, you can help me too."
"Well, keep your eyes wide open!" Basil Jaak chuckled wily; he spat out a small razor blade sealed with wax from his mouth, skillfully flipped it behind him, landing it accurately in his bound hand.
Then, like clockwork, Basil Jaak used the sharp blade to quickly cut through the ropes binding his hands and also untied the ones around his feet. This whole process only took a minute, leaving Fenny Marshall dumbfounded.
"This... this is unbelievable!" Fenny Marshall's eyes were wide-open like a pair of cowbells, and she was speechless.
