"Watch out!" The Ghost Doctor yelled at Basil Jaak.
However, the eagle was faster, seemingly surpassing the speed of sound. Before his words fell, the eagle had already reached Basil's front.
Whoosh whoosh!
The howling wind was so blinding, Basil couldn't even open his eyes. But he had no choice but to keep his eyes wide open, aimed at the eagle's flying trajectory, to dodge timely and swiftly.
Although we see eagles as small creatures when we look up at them in the clear blue sky, it is only because we are at a significant distance from them. Now Basil is just an arm's length away from it, the enormous claws resembled a canopy, blocking out the sky above his head.
Utilizing the elasticity of the rope, Basil pushed hard against the rock with his legs, sending his body quickly in the opposite direction and barely avoided the eagle's talons, narrowly escaping a disaster.
