As soon as Basil Jaak left the park, Fiona Turner followed him out.
"Basil, did you fail to reach an agreement with my grandfather?" Fiona curiously asked.
Basil turned around with a smile and suddenly asked, "Have you ever had this feeling before? There is something you have dreamed of getting but when it finally appears within your reach, you voluntarily give it up, and you don't even know why. It just suddenly feels like I no longer need it."
"Ah!" Fiona was startled by Basil's question and, on reflection, shook her head.
Basil said with a smile, "When you understand, you'll know what I'm feeling now."
"Oh," Fiona nodded with a smile, surprisingly not arguing this time.
Basil checked the time and said to Fiona, "I have to go. You should keep Sir Turner company. He may be in a high position, but he's quite lonely at heart. He needs your company."
