That night, Yetta had decided not to pull the graveyard shift at the precinct, intending to spend precious time with her parents at home. They were all sitting in the living room engrossed in a thrilling TV show when Jaak's phone call interrupted, causing Yetta's mood to sour. Had she not seen it was Jaak calling, she probably wouldn't have picked up.
"Well... Can you come to Shengka Hotel right now? I've nabbed a big fish," Jaak chuckled on the other end of the line.
