Basil Jaak returned the bag to Dawn Sutton, asking, "Miss Sutton, are you okay?"
"Ah? No...I'm fine." Dawn Sutton took back her bag nervously, a blush creeping onto her fair face, appearing slightly constrained.
Basil Jaak looked at Dawn Sutton amusedly– this little girl who used to act authoritative in the office had now turned into a shy, demure woman.
Made uneasy by Basil Jaak's staring, Dawn Sutton's face turned even redder. Her small hands fidgeted together nervously and she said very softly, "Thank you for retrieving my bag."
Luckily, Basil Jaak had good hearing, barely making out what Dawn Sutton had said. He waved his hand, indicating her not to worry about it.
"But, I'm still grateful," Dawn Sutton suddenly looked up, saying earnestly.
Basil Jaak was taken aback, his eyes gleaming mischievously. He leaned in and said with a teasing smile, "Miss Sutton, I don't have a girlfriend yet. Since you're grateful, why don't you become my girlfriend?"
